And that wraps up another Scottish BSides event!

From our opening keynote by the FBI's Todd Renner, to ING's Chris Sutherland's closing talk about incident response, BSides Edinburgh 2019 has been a great success.

All the talks are up on our YouTube channel, courtesy of Cooper. Please subscribe to be notified of future talks!

We had a superb turnout - didn't quite max out the two main tracks, but did fill various talks in the workshop rooms. Absolutely delighted to see not only so many students present despite exam and papers being due, well, now! but also for our first year running with specific talks for children we had not just 3 kids on the volunteer team, but a few of all ages (I think the 7 month old didn't get a lanyard and badge for safety reasons...)

Our sponsor stands seemed busy at all the right times, and even had visitors during most of the talks. Thanks again to JP Morgan, ContextIS, Pen Test Partners, PwC and Tenable for providing budget for the event, as well as swag, guidance and general chat. And thanks to all our community sponsors - the full list is on our sponsor page, along with links, so if you really meant to find out more about the White Hat Rally, Car Hacking, Open University courses or any of the others, please check out the links.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the afterparty, but it looks like Xcina and Hack in the Box hosted an excellent evening. I hope people aren't feeling too rough this morning.

To all those who helped, especially the volunteers, thank you so much! It was tiring, but awesome.

All being well, we will see you all next year for BSides Glasgow 2020. I'm now off back to the day job until August, when I'm off to goon at DefCon in Vegas!
